Sizare Naudin 1910 test
A quick visitor to the workshop. 1910 Sizare Naudin. It hadn't been started in a while but a clean of the points and it started.
Note the independent front suspension and wooden chassis rails.
Someone has added an electric starter.

Benz Restoration nearly completed Car is wet, it never stops raining!
Wow, absolutely amazing! Golden age of Belgian automobiles
Weve came along wsy sense the first car like 20 or 25 years only two decades crazy
Do you know any supplier for tyres ?
Hey, that looks like the 6/80 I want to rescue local to me 😅 Better go check if it's still there!!
Nice to see.
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi Nut, I've just collected one of these and it's needing a couple of parts machined. The more important of which are the two identical links that attach between the pull arm, and the shaft which travels up and down. Is there any chance you can measure the distance between the centre of the holes in mm for me? Can talk further about it if you like :)
Sorry I have sold this on, to make space for more projects.
Idle speed is very high.
Beautiful car
Hi there I’m in the process of restoring the exact same model its a bit worse for wear than your one could you tell if you have the blaze driver bits for your Morticer and what they were used for
No I don't have any other bits than the one showen.
Hi Sheep, are you needing any parts for yours? I could be removing the table from mine to convert into a press. Would also be handy to know the sizes of some bits of yours as I need a few pieces machined.
@@Craig. hi Mine is in full working order just needing to get the chisels sharpened and it’s all good works a treat
Ah good to hear! Any chance you can check two things for me: 1. I need two new links machined, they sit between the pull arm and shaft which travels up and down. Is there any chance you can measure the distance between the centre of the holes in mm for me? 2. I'm disassembling the table to clean at the minute, but I'm stuck on the long screw rod which allows the table to slide back and forth. The end of the rod goes through a bracket and is capped at the end. I'm trying to get the cap off, but there's a highly corroded pin in it. Is this a threaded pin? What's on yours? There seems to be an access hole through the table, and there's a hollow on the other side of the pin, but I've tried hammering to no avail. Thanks.
@@Craig. the pin on number two on your list that you are trying to get out is a wedged pin I had same problem you have to try and find out which end is the thin side of the wedged pin and knock it out if you don’t you break the end of the screwed rod that’s what happened to mine and it’s cast so not good for welding Leave the other one with me and I try and get some sizes for you ok
welcome. I'm looking for a windshield for an Opel Blitz. I will be grateful for your help
Awesome first african american car company built before ford. CR Patterson
what coachbuilder is it and can you tell me more about the history of the car
Wondering if its possible to share the contact information for the new owner in Australia?! We would love to shoot with this beautiful vehicle! Please email us info@meansofproduction.ca thank you!
This is a William Patterson Company automobile ..... NOT a Patterson-Greenfield automobile by C.R. Patterson & Sons. Two completely different car companies, and families.
Got you the first time...passion can turn into spam real quick... fine line.
@@BoqPrecision and...misinformation. God bless.
You fool William Paterson is cr Patterson you imbecile
@@BoqPrecision don’t let this clown lie to u
1910? i thought it was created in 1915?
Wrong Patterson car company. This is a William Patterson automobile.
Now I see why ford stole his ideas.
you're blind as a bat
Wow. This is CR Patterson’s first car?
No. CR Patterson didn't make cars till half a decade later.
@@_rob_. Go back and read the question. Are you blind?
Probably not. CR Patterson died in 1910 and his son Frederick transition the company from carriages to cars. The first in 1915. Last I heard none of his company's 30-150 cars survived.
Love this car! Where is it located? I’d love to do a vlog with you and cruise around. I’m based in Atlanta and I’m willing to travel.
This was filmed in New Zealand where I worked on the car. It's now with it's new owner in Australia.
It’s a magnificent car designed and built by former slave what an achievement by someone who was a no one ☝🏽
lmafo. who said he was a slave? he was born in 1871 after slavery. his father was black and married a white woman. frederick douglas patterson was a republican. the business started from a carriages manufacturer business. they built like 28 different horse-drawn vehicles, in 1910 the dad died. by 1915 the son frederick started making his own car. he probably would of became rich but the great depression fucked him over. and he died in 1932 and the business collapsed in 1939
@Patrick Jones no it's not.
@@ariesradke6193 Lmafo. The maker of this car wasn't even related to Frederick Patterson. And...he was white. yep
Had to be driving around 60 -70 mph
We need a 2020 CR PATERSON
iven garland hey there is one it’s built by Richard Patterson it’s Called Paterson car 🚘 worth about and half million dollars 💵
Exactly. All the money the rappers & actors got we could have 10 by now.
Black man invention facts
Levi Jerome book on black inventors by Keith c Holmes
@LeviJerome this car was built by a white man. Just a fact for all the black men out there.
I've worked on a lot of Packards 8s this one looks to be early 30 car with the updraft carb, Packard used the Detroit Lubricator carb on early engines, then went to EE-2 Stromberg downdraft carb
A straight 8 , with 4 on the floor ?
What is the coachbuilder?
103 Years old. Amazing Packard quality!!
1918?
1922
I was told an African man designed and developed this automobile and it was considered the benchmark for its time.
It was nice to work on and drive, much nicer than the 1914 Benz in one of my other videos.
He wasn't a African, he was a American Indian!
@@spark1181 huh that's correct ,who are u,I know who I am and the blood that runs through my veins! Do your Genealogy!
@@spark1181 oh I can trace my family to the 1720s before the pilgrims came, right here in America, aka Turtle Island!
@Boqoreh You were told wrong. This is a William Patterson automobile. Michigan white man. The other Patterson is C.R. Patterson & Sons who made the Patterson Greenfield automobiles later in 1915 in Ohio. C.R. Patterson and his heirs have quite a fascinating history. My opinion...more so than the William Patterson that made the car in this video. anywhooo... there were 2 Patterson car makers.

I like your antique car
Mio padre ne aveva uno. da Piccolo lo guidavo e ha funzionato fino al 1999 poi è stato demolito. Che ricordi! Grazie!
So how is this car now? Looks like a pretty light body for such a massive limo engine. What's it like to drive?
Yes they are smooth once they have warmed up - smooth as silk. I should have taken a video with a wine glass on top. Later model ones are actually superior because they have better balancing for high-end revs.
Ive never seen one running. They sound smooth. Do they purr like this one seems to be doing?Or are they a bit ruff or? Can you tell me how they behave?
Now theres a rare jewel.Ive seen 2 that were in vehicles that were junk.(in my life).Im 51 so i think they be a rare comodity.Id love to play with one for a day.
@mphelan1234 Its a ufo type hay mower 1550 cut , they are well out of date now.I have since sold it because I felt it was out to get me.
